If an old-fashioned extravagant white wedding just isn’t quite your thing and you would prefer a more relaxed, fun, and informal day then this is the perfect indoor and outdoor venue to celebrate your love and marriage with all the special people in your lives. Parquetry floors and sunlit rooms make this charming pub and garden a fantastic backdrop for any wedding theme from rustic to vintage, bohemian to romantic, modern to the alternative – we’ve helped to create them all!
The venue is fully air-conditioned inside for those spring/summer weddings. It also has 2 open fires, as well as heated and covered booths in the garden, so you and your guests can stay warm and cosy in the Winter months. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly venue, love is love and we love to celebrate it!
Private Hire of the East Wing & Apple Tree Corner
30-90 guests / 40 seated inside / 70 seated outside.
Private Hire of the West Wing Function Room & Garden
70-150 guests / 50 seated inside / 150 seated outside.
Exclusive hire of the Whole Venue
Up to 250 guests, available Monday-Wednesday off-peak only.
There are no hire fees, as we operate on a minimum spend basis. All pre-ordered food & drink, as well as your guests bar spend will count towards your total minimum spend. Minimum spend amounts vary, depending on the space required, day/time of the week and month of the year, so make sure to give us this information when getting in touch for a quote. Weekdays carry a lower minimum spend. If you are open to the idea of a weekday wedding, be sure to let us know and we can send you a quote for both options to see what works best for you.

Food & Drink
Our experienced head chef has designed fantastic menus for canapés, buffets, and summer BBQs. Every wedding we host is different from the last, so we aim to be as flexible as we can to make your day as special as it can be.
Freshly-made Cocktails, Wine, Champagne, premium Spirits and Shots, Craft Beers, draught Lager, Cider and Ale are all available, along with freshly-brewed Tea & Coffee. Welcome drinks and Table drinks can be provided upon request, why not make your guests feel like VIP’s with a Pimm’s or glass of Prosecco upon arrival?
