ESCAPE THE OFFICE
Whether you’re wanting to throw a Summer Garden Party or end-of-year celebration for your hard-working staff, put on a Charity Fundraiser, raise a glass to a colleague going on retirement or simply need a space for a client meeting with food and drinks supplied, there are several options available to choose from.
NEW Event Packages for 2024
Let us do all the organising for you! We have carefully created special packages that can include Welcome Drinks, Buffet, BBQ, Drink Tokens, DJ and Photo Booth. All packages are priced per head with no venue hire fees or minimum spend requirement. The packages available for your event depend on the date & time and number of guests you are expecting, so please get in touch with our experienced events team for further information.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to have a party package, we can provide a quote for the minimum spend requirement.
Business Lunch
Private hire includes free Wi-fi, large TV screens for presentations, air conditioning for Summer and open fires for Winter. We have several Buffet menus to choose from with Vegan and Gluten-free options available, Sandwich platters, plus plenty of Tea & Coffee. If you would prefer to have a proper lunch, guests are welcome to order from our Main Menu on the day (pre-order may be required for bigger groups).
Private Party
Private hire is available for 30-250 guests, making this one of Brighton & Hove’s largest venues with indoor & outdoor space for your event.
Private Hire of the East Wing & Apple Tree Corner
30-90 guests / 40 seated inside / 70 seated outside.
Private Hire of the West Wing Function Room & Garden
70-150 guests / 50 seated inside / 150 seated outside.
Exclusive hire of the Whole Venue
Up to 250 guests, available Monday-Wednesday off-peak only.

- 3 TV Screens for presentations.
- Flower wall for the perfect photo backdrop.
- Toilets & Baby Change facilities.
- In-house sound system (for staff use only)
- Space for a DJ & dance floor + seating.
- Space for a Photo pod.
Area Bookings (Non-exclusive)
If you’re not quite sure you need a large private space with all the bells and whistles, we have several seating areas inside the venue and in our garden that are perfect for more intimate and relaxed meetings. The tables will be reserved for you and your guests, with the rest of the venue open to the public as normal. A deposit is required to secure your booking which can be used towards food or drink costs on the day.
There are no hire fees or minimum spend.
Area inside : Up to 30 guests (£50 deposit, no minimum spend)
Garden area : Up to 70 guests (£100 deposit, no minimum spend)
Food & Drink
Our experienced head chef has designed fantastic menus for canapés, buffets, and summer BBQs. Freshly-made Cocktails, Wine, Champagne, premium Spirits and Shots, Craft Beers, draught Lager, Cider and Ale are all available, along with freshly-brewed Tea & Coffee. Food & Drink packages can be tailor-made to your requirements, get in touch with our events team for further details.
Parking & Travel
We are in Parking Zone L. Resident permit-only bays operate 11am to noon and 6pm-7pm, 7 days a week including bank holidays. Outside of these hours there is free on-street parking on all surrounding roads.
